Bryan Cameron is the Chairman and President of the Bryan Cameron Education Foundation. Through the Foundation, he hopes to invest in the lives of many deserving students as they seek to continue their development in college and during their lives make a meaningful impact in their professional and personal activities.

Education has been a critical part of Mr. Cameron’s own life, as he had the opportunity to learn from many gifted teachers and fellow students. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, Davis, in 1980 and then his MBA from Stanford University in 1983. Professionally, he spent his entire career at Dodge & Cox, a large investment firm in San Francisco, with responsibilities in equity analysis and decision making. Mr. Cameron was the Director of Equity Research at the firm.

Bryan Cameron is active in a number of philanthropic organizations. He is Past President of the Bear Backers, the Athletic Development office of the University of California, Berkeley, and currently serves on the Board of the Institute of Government Studies at the University. He also serves on the Chancellor’s Advisory Board at the University of California, Davis, the Board of the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Foundation in Palo Alto, CA, and the Board of the Church of the Pioneers Foundation, Menlo Church, in Menlo Park, CA.

Bryan considers himself most fortunate to be surrounded by wonderful family and friends, many of whom call him “Bear” due to his devotion to Cal. When not working at Cal Athletic events, his interests are primarily reading, politics, travel, and golf.
